Casa do Amarelindo offers ten spacious rooms that combine comfort and luxury. The decoration is inspired by the Bahia colonial culture with a touch of the African influence which is so characteristic of the history of Salvador. Most of the rooms have a breath-taking view of the Baia de Todos os Santos (All Saints’ Bay). In addition, various rooms have a private terrace overlooking either the bay or the city.
Everything has been thought of to guarantee a maximum of well-being, far from the cheerful bustle in the streets of Pelourinho. The rooms are equipped with either a king-size bed or with two twin beds which can be joined into one huge bed worthy the tale of Thousand and One Nights. High quality bedding, pure cotton sheets and duvet eiderdowns are provided for to guarantee sweet and refreshing sleeps which not even the echo of the Pelourinho feasts that may continue all night long will disturb thanks to the sound insulation of the doors and windows. All rooms have of course air conditioning and are moreover equipped with a ceiling fan, traditional symbol of the colonial rooms, however with a small difference as the fan is silent. So is the minibar: even in the heart of the festivities, the sleep of the Casa do Amarelindo guests is sacred.
LCD TV with free international satellite channels, DVD and CD player (free access to a selection of movies at the reception), free internet access (WiFi and broadband), electronic safe, hair-dryer, hydro massage bath tub or rainfall shower add to the comfort of the Casa do Amarelindo rooms, a true quiet haven in this so bustling district.
Our amenities range, based on the natural richness of Brazilian fruits, has been chosen for its high quality.
Some Deluxe rooms are able to accommodate until four people. One room has also been designed to welcome people of reduced mobility. Four rooms can be connected.
